Printing and saving a report

Everything shown on screen can be printed to PDF or saved to Excel. Nothing is reserved for one or the other: what you see is what you get.

The two buttons at the top

At the top of every report, on the left:

  • Print (PDF) — the whole report, laid out, with the logo and the library's name. This is the document to hand to a donor or attach to a funding application.
  • Excel file — the same report, figures and charts, in a workbook. One sheet per table, with the chart set beside its data.

Both follow the period and the settings shown on screen: if you are looking at "2025", the file covers 2025.

One table, not the whole screen

Under each table's title, two small links: PDF and Excel. They export that table only.

Useful when you want just the list of unpaid invoices without printing the eight tables of the "Money" screen.

Finding a table

The All reports page lists every screen and every table, each with a direct link.

Exporting every column (CSV)

The The collection and Loans screens offer CSV files at the very bottom.

These are not reports: they are neither laid out nor explained, but they carry every column in the database — far more than the table shows.

File What it holds
Whole catalogue One row per copy: ISBN, publisher, year, tags, summary, source, location…
Current loans and holds Today's situation, loans and holds in a single file
The period's loans Every loan of the period shown at the top of the screen

Useful for: an annual inventory, sharing your collection with another library, or a calculation BibliOfelia does not do.

How to open a CSV

  1. Click the link
  2. The .csv file downloads
  3. Open it in LibreOffice Calc, Excel or Google Sheets

Columns are separated by commas. All accented characters (à, é, è, ô, ï…) display correctly in LibreOffice Calc and Google Sheets.

If Excel opens everything in a single column

French Excel expects semicolons as separators by default. Use Data → From Text/CSV and specify "comma" as the separator — your columns will appear correctly.

What about the annual report?

It is the Overview with the period set to 2025 or 2026: every key figure on one page, compared with the previous year. Print it to PDF.
